Sarah founded Sea to City Travels in the summer of 2019 after 2.5 years as a Luxury Travel Advisor. Originally from Arizona, Sarah attended the College of Charleston before living in Vietnam for a year. After an advisor helped Sarah’s family visit her in Vietnam, she realized she could turn her love of travel into a fulfilling career. Her year in Southeast Asia contributed to the development of her travel style – one that focuses on delving into a country, a culture, its people, history, and of course, its cuisine. Sarah enjoys helping her clients travel deeply, passionately, and seamlessly.
The best part of the experience was seeing Passalacqua through the eyes of her owner, Valentina, as she walked us through every rooms detailing how she had picked each linen, chandelier, etc. And, of course, toasting with champagne by the pool to celebrate the impending opening was the cherry on top!
Favorite Memory
I had the pleasure of visiting Passalacqua about a month before it ever opened. Being picked as one of the first advisors to see the property was not only a huge honor but also such a unique opportunity for my clients to receive first-hand knowledge before really anyone else! The best part of the experience was seeing Passalacqua through the eyes of her owner, Valentina, as she walked us through every rooms detailing how she had picked each linen, chandelier, etc. And, of course, toasting with champagne by the pool to celebrate the impending opening was the cherry on top!
Insider Tip
Stay longer than you think you should! These properties are truly the best of the best in their destinations and you won’t want to leave!
Next Dream Trip?
I’m dying to experience a Querido Portugal trip with stays at both Sao Lourenco do Barrocal and Sublime Comporta. I love that they both have such fabulous sense of place. It’s slow, intentional travel. These are the hidden gems within Portugal you almost don’t want to tell anyone about so they stay that way!
