Michelle grew up with a passion for travel and in 2016 she started Uncorked Escapes, a luxury travel agency with a niche focus on wine and culinary travel. While wine country around the world is her specialty, she loves planning all different kinds of trips around the world! She’s traveled to over 40 countries (and counting) but always feels lucky to return home to Newport Beach, CA where she calls home. When she’s not jet setting, Michelle enjoys boating, cooking and relaxing with friends and family!
Borgo Santo Pietro nearly brought me to tears upon arrival - happy tears of course! I don't know if I was overjoyed to be back in Italy after the pandemic, or the unbelievable beauty in every direction at this stunning property (or a combination of the two) - but our picnic on arrival in the vineyards was everything! I was beside myself the entire time on property because it's just that special and beautiful!
Favorite Memory
There’s too many to count because the Querido family truly does it best! Spending a day at the Palazzo Avino beach club is pure heaven! Each level offers something incredible, from the pizza oven at the top terrace (best pizza ever!) to the plunge pool in the middle, to the ocean platform at the bottom that invites you to dive into the sea. Pop the rosé and it’s sure to be magical day on the coast!

Never miss a sunset at the bar! The settings are so beautiful and their mixologists can whip up personalized drinks just for you. Becoming friends with the bartender on day one never hurts, am I right?!
Next Dream Trip?
While all the properties are on my bucket list, it’s the Satori Yacht that I have my eye on most! Growing up near the water, I love all things boating, so combine to of my favorite things – the ocean and Europe – would just be a dream. I don’t think there’s anything better than life at sea!
