Imagine is the third super yacht designed by Ed Dubois and built in Auckland by Alloy Yacht International. It’s the most adventurous voyager of all Alloy Yachts’ vessels having completed three circumnavigations, including a passage to the Arctic Circle. French interior designer, Agnès Comar, sought to give the 33.6m long yacht a relaxed, homely feel with her use of beech panelling and muted light colours.
The yacht sleeps up to seven people with a full-beam master cabin and an adjoining sleeping nook for two kids, double cabin, and triple cabin with three fixed berths. Above deck is a generous cockpit offering two seats with raised tables for al fresco dinners, and an open foredeck for sunbathing, ocean gazing, and movie watching—and when it’s time to settle down, the main salon with its cozy lounge, dining space, and navigation area provide a warm, familiar sanctuary.
The story
Known as the yachtsman’s yacht, Imagine is revered for its technical performance as much as its luxury appeal. Custom built by the award-winning Dubois studio, it beautifully combines sailing performance with comfort, crossing the ocean with an ease that belies her power. Borgo Egnazia and San Domenico owner, Aldo Melgignano, and his team have crafted “Nowhere Else” experiences, ranging from remote beach barbeques to drill-down cultural excursions.
