Borgo Egnazia is a visionary interpretation of a Puglian village, designed to make you feel like there’s “nowhere else”—and with its two private beach clubs, award-winning spa, Michelin-starred restaurant, and championship golf club, San Domenico, you’ll leave knowing it to be true.
We started working with Borgo Egnazia in 2012 with the dual goal of establishing Puglia as a must-visit destination, and position the property as an unforgettable hotel worthy of being the sole reason for a trip to the Italian coast. Leveraging industry relationships, we negotiated to host the 2015 Virtuoso Chairman’s awards, bringing 50+ of the top performing advisors to the hotel—increased exposure that led to Borgo Egnazia winning the Virtuoso Hotel of the Year in 2016. Business from the US has increased year-on-year, and in 2019 it was the top-performing market.
The US trade market represented 9.5M euros in 2019 compared to 500K euros upon opening in 2010.
