Shawna has been a passionate traveler since spending the first few years of her life in Istanbul, Turkey. After receiving her BA from Colby College in Art History and French, and her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Shawna spent 15 years as a management consultant. In 2008, Shawna decided to shift gears and focus on travel as a profession.
Shawna holds a seat on the elite Travel Advisory Board for Travel + Leisure Magazine as well as on the Advisory Boards for Abercrombie & Kent and AMAN.
