Stephanie van Rappard is the founder and CEO of gloobles, a boutique travel platform offering curated travel tips at your fingertips – and now bespoke journeys too! She shares her encyclopaedic knowledge of the best of the best when it comes to dining, drinking, dancing and everything in between with discerning travellers and her clients worldwide.

With a razor-sharp attention to detail thanks to her background in architecture, Stephanie notices the tog of a hotel room’s duvet as quickly as she does a misaligned photo on gloobles.com. She has an incredible network across the globe, and she uses her finely honed travel know-how to plan incredible trips for them or simply drum up a fabulous list of recommendations. When she doesn’t have her nose to the gloobles grindstone, Stephanie is running a charitable foundation, taking care of her three beautiful children or criss-crossing the earth from St. Tropez to San Francisco.

Favorite Memory

Ohhh I find it far too difficult to pick one to be honest. In just a year since launching our agency here at gloobles, I have visited almost half of the properties. I am just such a fan of beautiful, authentic, family-owned hotels. If I really have to choose, it would probably be the sunset & aperitivo at Sao Lourenço do Barrocal. I love that it’s got this sense of barefoot luxury, and the light is pretty special.

Insider Tip

The team at gloobles loves telling the stories of unique places & properties like the Querido hotels. So, my top tip for enjoying a Querido hotel? Make sure you learn about the story behind the family and the property. Chat to the GM. The concierge. The owner (if you’re lucky!). Then you get a true sense of the alchemy of the place.

Next Dream Trip?

Oh, not again! Just one? I would love to experience the magic of FORESTIS. We have heard so many amazing stories from our clients, so I am just dying to see what all the fuss is about.
