Originally from the UK, Kemi instantly fell in love with Vancouver when she moved to Canada in 2012. With an insatiable passion for travel, Kemi has visited more than 60 countries, lived on three different continents, and visited six. After managing another agency for 6 years, Kemi took the plunge to launch her own agency, Wells Luxury Travel at the start of 2021. Formed as a collective for like-minded luxury travel advisors who are committed to superior client care, hold distinguished global supplier contacts and have meticulous planning skills . Kemi is a proud member of the Travel + Leisure Advisory Board, is a featured A-Lister in their annual awards and sits on Virtuoso’s Global Member Advisory Board. Personal passions include trying new restaurants, scuba diving and hiking.
Favorite Memory
Taking my Mum to Hotel Vilon in Rome. So much character, history and style. We stayed in the Vilon Suite, which was just stunning and even had its own Hamman! I’ll never forget the laughs my Mum and I had, sitting inside it thinking what a surreal experience it was! It was also my favourite breakfast of all time – their take on an eggs benedict was just divine, as well as all of the small touches like beautiful glass wear and personable staff (and this why I love boutique hotels).
Insider Tip
Be sure to build in enough time to soak up the properties, as the experience is so much more than just a simple hotel stay. Spend time relaxing, enjoy the atmosphere on property and spend time chatting with the staff. It’s all one big family and you’ll certainly be welcomed in with open arms.

SHA Wellness Clinic in Alicante is very high on my wish list as I’d love to experience a true, fully immersive wellness retreat. And one that’s in the heart of a national park with sea views? I’m sold! I am also dying to revisit Portugal, as it’s been many years, and I have only been to the Algarve. Sublime Comporta looks stunning! I particularly love their villas which are perfect for that post pandemic reunion with friends and family!
