If you are staying at the Borgo Egnazia, make sure you take a bike ride through the olive tree orchards that surround the countryside. It’s a short ride and more importantly, make sure to ask the hotel to put together a small lunch with wine, freshly baked bread and local cheese…and of course olive oil. You can stop and have a picnic under the olive trees while viewing the blue water of the Mediterranean. Life moves at a slower pace in Puglia which is what makes it so charming.
Favorite Memory
I was fortunate to have visited Terre Blanche a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the property and surrounding areas. After finishing an amazing breakfast filled with fresh eggs and vegetables, we rented bicycles and rode around the beautiful countryside and stopped for one of the most amazing lunches at a small village of Callian which has to be one of the most beautiful cities of all of France. With breathtaking views, and local shops, it was one of the most amazing days I’ve ever spent in Europe. Upon returning back to Terre Blanche, we had a 90 minute massage to help get the kinks out from the bike ride. I can’t wait to return.

I’ve been dying to visit the SHA Wellness Center in Alicante, Spain. I’ve known a few people who have been and we have sold it numerous times and people absolutely love the property. It’s definitely high on my bucket list!
Cannot travel without...
My hiking boots. Anytime I go on vacation, I always want to get at least one hike in. If I’m in an urban setting, then a good pair of running shoes as I feel the best way to visit a city is to do an early morning run or hike. Regardless of where I am on this planet, it’s the first thing I think about when I am considering visiting a destination. Do they have good hiking trails nearby? It’s my most favorite thing to do…beside eat and drink, of course.
