Querido Portugal Tour

Olà Portugal!

Our Querido team and rockstars got to experience slow living in the countryside at São Lourenço do Barrocal, explored stunning beaches at Sublime Comporta, breathtaking views at Immerso, and urban living in vibrant Lisbon at Sublime Lisboa.

Our Querido team and rockstar’s first stop was at São Lourenço do Barrocal, providing us with the rustic charm of the beautiful Alentejo region of Portugal. With traditional architecture and modern amenities, the hotel offers guests an authentic taste of Portuguese rural life while offering luxury and comfort. The dining experiences were outstanding, starting our first evening with a private family-style dinner the table was beautifully decorated with local flowers, and we sipped on exceptional Barrocal Estate wines made on property.

On our second day, the hotel prepared a wine-tasting and lunch experience at Herdade do Esporão winery, followed by a visit to the medieval village, Monsaraz, located 10 minutes from the hotel. The highlight of our stay was the hot air balloon ride with breathtaking views of Alentejo’s rolling hills, Spain, and Alqueva lake ending with a Champagne ceremony.

Sublime Comporta – Nestled among pine trees just ten minutes from the most beautiful sandy beaches, it was time to relax in nature. After an afternoon spent by the pool, the hotel gardens provided the freshest ingredients for a farm-to-table dinner at the incredible Food Circle – a truly phenomenal gastronomic experience paired with the finest Portuguese wines around an open fire pit where the chefs cook a set menu…spectacular! The next morning, we started our day with a rejuvenating horseback ride exploring the local rice fields, sand dunes, and picturesque beaches. We spent the afternoon at the beach, swam for hours in the Atlantic, and enjoyed a fabulous seafood lunch at Sublime Comporta Beach Club. Each meal was outstanding – we ended our trip with dinner at Sem Porta, which was WOW!

The town of Ericeira is known as the surfing capital of Europe, and we couldn’t wait to hit the waves. Located just a short walk from the famous Ribeira d’Ilhas beach, Immerso hotel offers stunning ocean views with a minimalist yet cozy interior that features natural materials such as wood and stone, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. After a day of surfing and exploring the town and wineries, we sat for dinner at Emme Restaurant at the hotel and enjoyed the delicious local Portuguese cuisine with one of the best fresh lobster crispy rice and kobe quality meat dishes.

The beautiful city of Lisbon is a great place to explore, and there’s no better way to do it than with Sublime Lisboa. The chic Art Deco-inspired hotel is bustling with activity from the moment you walk in; peach-hued carpets line both hallways and stairs while spacious but cozy rooms await on each level – just what every visitor needs after their day spent exploring this vibrant city.

One of the best parts about a stay at Sublime Hotel is their restaurant Davvero, helmed by Venetian chef Isaac Kumi. Italian cuisine with a Portuguese twist, with excellent risotto and steak dishes, made this unique dining experience even more flavorful!

Four fabulous hotels providing the perfect Portuguese itinerary to experience the countryside, the beach, and the vibrant city life!
